is a renown nurse manager and educator, and Springer author for the Cherry Ames Series. Dr. Foreman has held several high-level nursing and administrative positions in acute and long term care facilities, and is especially noted for reorganizing nursing units from traditional to patient-centered care models using a multi-disciplinary team approach implemented after listening to staff members at: the Jewish Institute of Geriatric Care, the Metropolitan Jewish Geriatric Center, Kingsbrook Jewish Medical Center, and Hempstead General Medical Center. In this same manner, she has done numerous union vulnerability audits with recommendations for change to nursing administration. A Nursing Spectrum Executive Director, Dr. Foreman has contributed to a variety of periodicals and textbooks, consults on health-related issues, has been an expert witness in federal court and at the NLRB, and has presented and taught internationally. Her professional collection is now archived on invitation at the Center for Nursing History, Guilderland, NY.
