Synopsis

Dorothy is swept away from her home in Kansas by a tornado, and finds herself in the magical land of Oz. In order to get home, she must travel the Yellow Brick Road to the Emerald City to ask the Wizard of Oz to send her home. Wearing a pair of silver slippers taken from the feet of the evil Witch of the East (who was killed by Dorothy's arrival), Dorothy sets out on her journey, accompanied by her dog Toto. Along the way she explores the land of Oz and meets many of its inhabitants, including a talking scarecrow, a man made entirely out of tin, and a cowardly lion.

This cheap edition wrongly shows the title as The Wizard of Oz and the author as "Frank Baum," but it is in fact an unabridged edition of the original.
