Pale lilac endpapers. Foreword by Leonie Orton Barnett. pp. 183. With 52 full colour plates, reproducing Orton and Halliwell's subversive collaged rearrangements of dust jackets and books held in Islington Library, which allows the reader to see for the first time the material which led the couple to being handed a six month prison sentence on the charge of malicious damage. The book appears to have had little if any use; the jacket has a few very minor impressions. A lovely copy, recounting one of the more notorious episodes of London literary life in the Sixties.
