About the Author:
Mike Jackson is a senior staff engineer and instructor with MindShare, where he has trained hundreds of engineers. He is an industry expert on such topics as PCI, PCI-X, PCI Express, and PC Architecture. Before joining MindShare, Mike worked as a system designer for Sentry Schlumberger, a product planner for AMD, and an ASIC designer and systems integrator for Compaq/HP.
