About the Author
Simon Chapman has traveled to tropical forests all over the world. He is the author of The Monster of Madidi (2001) as well as numerous magazine articles and illustrations in the UK and US. He has also written and recorded for BBC Radio 4 and lectured at the Royal Geographical Society. The Explorers Wanted! series has been published in the UK in 2003 and 2004. When not exploring, Simon teaches high school physics.
