After she loses her suitcase at their first stop, she finds herself thrown into an international smuggling case involving a secret Elvis recording and the theft of Van Gogh sketches. Offsetting the rough stuff are the dynamics between Jordan and her friends and family, which provide humor and even some light romance. Gobbell brings the Provence backdrop to vivid life while dropping enough clues to keep readers focused on the mystery involved.
