"Problems of Psychical Research" is a classic by the great psychic researcher and prolific writer, Hereward Carrington (1880 - 1958). During his very active lifetime, Mr. Carrington wrote over 100 books and pamphlets on a variety of topics, including paranormal research, psychic development, stage magic, and healthy living. From age 19, Carrington was a member of Society for Psychical Research (S.P.R.), one of the leading advocates for thorough and unbiased study of all psychic (or "psychical") and ghost-related phenomena. Mr. Carrington worked with the top mediums of his era, including Eusapia Palladino, Esther Cox, Mina "Margery" Crandon, and Mrs. Piper. Carrington worked with those who most closely studied and analyzed paranormal phenomena and hoaxes. His name appears with experts such as Harry Houdini, Nandor Fodor, Malcolm Bird, and William McDougall.
