About the Author:

Tim Lynch lives in Barnsley. He specialises in military and social history, and has published widely on local wartime history. He is also a member of the Western Front Association, Historical Writers Association and of the Guild of Battlefield Guides, and will be working with all three organisations on First World War related events in the coming years.
