Already Missional: Congregations as Community Partners is a congregationally-friendly educational and development tool. The book is designed for pastors, lay leaders, and consultants working in and with congregations to spark missional ministry. The book has nine short chapters to make group study easy and productive. The focus of Already Missional is congregational change and development, following principles derived from the missional church movement and organizational development, including change readiness factors. Each chapter introduces a "missional readiness question" and related scorecard to generate group conversation and action planning. Each chapter includes a grid of strategic questions and a related photocopy-ready worksheet. The book's ideas and discussion tools were developed over five years with a variety of congregations and leaders. The book offers working definitions of mission and ministry for congregational leaders. Building on missional church insights, Maria Harris' analysis of five core church ministries, and the author's concept of already-missional, the book provides a practical framework for growing congregational mission and energy.

About the Author

Bradley T. Morrison is Assistant Professor of Practical Theology at Huron University College in London, Canada. Brad is an ordained minister in The United Church of Canada with over twenty years of congregational ministry experience. He is a Registered Psychotherapist (College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario) and Clinical Fellow, American Association for Marriage and Family Therapy. He has an MDiv (Toronto), MTS, MTh, and DMin (Waterloo Lutheran Seminary).
