Gurjit Kaur, a bright scholar, gold medalist throughout including B.Tech and M.Tech and president awardee has spent over 13 years of her academic career towards research and teaching in the field of Electronics and Communication. She is having distinction of receiving a Gold medal by former President of India A P J Abdul Kalam for being overall topper of the Punjab Technical University, Jalandhar by securing 82% marks. She has been a topper throughout her academic career. She earned her Ph.D. degree from Panjab University, Chandigarh in 2010 and her M. Tech from PEC University of Technology, Chandigarh in 2003 with distinction. Presently Dr Kaur is working as an Assistant Professor in the School of Information and Communication Technology, Gautam Buddha University, Greater Noida, India. Her research interests include Optical CDMA, Wireless Communication system, high-speed interconnect and IOT. Her name has been listed in Marquis Whos Who in Science and Technology, USA. She has published more than 50 papers in journal and conferences, authored one book on Optical Communication, and one book chapter on WiMax of Florida Atlantic University, published by CRC Press.
