Dos j�venes, Pedro del Rinc�n y Diego Cortado, abandonadas las casas de sus padres, se conocen y se hacen amigos en una venta en el camino de Toledo a C�rdoba. Sin planes, deciden acompa�ar a unos pasajeros a Sevilla. All� encuentran el mundo de la hampa, e intentan formar parte de �l. Pero forzosamente tienen que presentarse ante Monipodio, jefe de un gremio de ladrones. Viven en su gran casa, cambian de nombres y forman parte de esta pintoresca cofrad�a de criminales.

Miguel de Cervantes was a Spanish novelist best known for his magnum opus Don Quixote, which has been called one of the best novels ever written. He died on April 23, 1616. Cervantes had a profound influence on the Spanish language. The manga adaptation was created by Variety Art Works, a manga production studio noted for sales topping 2.8 million copies.
