Reviews

Grade 5-7 -A novel fleshed out from the skeleton of a screenplay. Ellison is known for novelizations of motion pictures, and here he delves deeply into the emotions and minds of a polyglot assortment of humans (heroes, villains, and extras) and the stars of the film-a pair of tiger cubs. The florid text presents a series of rather illogical and unrealistic adventures (great cinema fodder, though) and an unlikely (though emotionally gratifying) conclusion. For fans of the film, an amplified souvenir. For those who haven't seen the movie-rent the DVD.-Patricia Manning, formerly at Eastchester Public Library, NY
