Amanda Jarrett is a horticultural consultant, writer, photographer, instructor, and lecturer. She is a Florida Certified Horticultural Professional and a member of the Florida Nurserymen and Growers Association and the Garden Writers of America. Born in England, she has lived in Libya, Malta, and Canada. She now lives with her husband and son in Cape Coral, Florida, where she writes a weekly gardening column for the Cape Coral News-Press.
