Synopsis

In the course of his struggle Joe gains another ally, Katherine Garnet, originally sought in marriage by Harry Alton. Katherine's break with the Altons becomes only one more score the clan has to settle with Joe Good and all those who side him.

Max Brand is the best-known pen name of Frederick Faust, creator of Destry, Dr. Kildare, and many other beloved fictional characters. Eighty motion pictures have been based on his work along with many radio and television programs. He was killed in World War II during a night attack on a hilltop held by the German army.
