Esta é uma nova tradução do livro de Enoque, livro antigo que detalha a parte do Gènesis que menciona os gigantes e o dilúvio. O seu conteúdo é mencionado no Novo Testamento pela epístola/carta de Judas e apesar de ter ficado fora do corpus bíblico adotado no Ocidente, há cerca de 2000 anos faz parte da Bíblia etíope e os judeus acreditavam que era autèntico até aproximadamente o ano 200. O manuscrito do livro de Enoque foi reencontrado e levado para o Ocidente no século XVIII. Desde então várias traduções foram publicadas. Esta nova tradução leva em consideração as principais traduções brasileiras e estrangeiras incluindo as inglesas, alemães, italianas, francesas e espanholas, além usar termos da tradução do especialista J. Milik de sua tradução dos manuscritos do Mar Morto com base em manuscritos lá encontrados e compara discrepâncias entre os manuscritos originais escritos em etíope e grego. Por esse estudo comparativo traduções, esta tradução do Livro de Enoque talvez seja a mais importante já feita e publicada no Brasil. Além da tradução, a obra possui uma ampla introdução abordando o aspecto histórico da obra e a importância de Enoque ao longo dos séculos, principalmente para cristãos e judeus.
