Synopsis
When Susannah Thorpe inherits Harstairs House, she finds more than she bargains for, as the house has a tenant in the broodingly handsome shape of Oliver Bristow. With only a month left on his lease, Susannah allows him to remain, but a series of unexplained incidents causes her to question Oliver's motives for staying. Susannah's search to discover the answer to this mystery results in her being swept into an adventure that changes her life. I've always loved Cornwall, with its wild coastline and its stormy seas, and I wanted to set a book there. I thought that a mysterious house, set high on a cliff overlooking the sea, was the perfect place for my hero and heroine to fall in love. I sent them through adventure and danger together, before allowing them to land on life's calmer shores.
