This book is intended as a text for a first course in the design and organization of digital computers. This book does not assume any knowledge of this subject from the reader. The text material has evolved from a course on the logical design of digital computers over a period of several years and was first used at the University of Ottawa and later at the University of Windsor.The book is suited for students of computer science or electrical engineering.
