Held positions at Yale (Instructor, 1964-1965; Assistant Professor 1965-1966) and the University of Chicago (since 1966). Principal mathematical interests are partial differential equations and operator theory. Published papers on elliptic and hyperbolic partial differential equations, local solvability of linear partial differential equations, operator theory, differential equations in Banach spaces, mathematical psychology, mathematical economics.
