Synopsis
Gernot Hertl is one of Austria's most successful young architects. He has put together an impressive oeuvre in only a few years that has received international recognition for the architect's unusual projects and solutions. 'Space and Texture' is the central element in this philosophy. About the Author
Gernot Hertl studied architecture at the TU Graz and founded Hertl.Architektur in 2005. He has won a number of competitions and other panel awards since then. Most recent publications: Haus Krammer, Reform Fensterfabrik and Ecker Abu Zahra Haus (selection).
MATTHIAS BOECKL, born 1962, studied art history. Professor at the University of Applied Arts Vienna. Editor in chief of the journal "Architektur.aktuell". Numerous publications.
