Con Los corruptores (2013), novela con la que comienza la serie de los Azules, alcanzó el éxito tanto en los países de habla hispana como a nivel internacional, y resultó finalista del premio Dashiell Hammett. Con el segundo volumen, Milena o el fémur más bello del mundo, ganó el Premio Planeta en 2014. Los usurpadores (2016) es el tercer volumen con el que concluye esta saga.
