PreSchool-- Eloy is terrified of the water, and becomes ill whenever it is time to go to the pool. When no one is watching, he puts paper boats and other objects in the water to see if they float. One day, after falling into the water (quickly rescued by his father), he realizes that he, too, may be able to float and gains the courage to learn to swim. This is a lovely book to share with a fearful child, particularly because of its watercolors by a well-known Spanish illustrator.
