A little wear to extremities, but otherwise a very good copy. Part of early receipt pasted on to front pastedown. The first English book on the restoration of paintings. It provides an historical survey, including the work of Anthony Vandyck and Charles I. Published anonymously, but known to be the work of John Bengo, artist and poet.
