8vo, engraved portrait frontispiece of the King, and pp. [ii], 376; 129, [1] blank, [4] advertisements; a good copy, in contemporary panelled calf, spine a little worn, label mostly missing. First and only edition: attributed to Defoe along with a previous volume, Annals of King George, year the second, by J.R. Moore. Furbank & Owens cast doubt on the idea that Defoe could have written either work, writing of this volume that 'one is at a loss to find anything definitely pointing to Defoe at all' - mainly because it is a pro-Government and directly opposed to Mercurius Politicus, with which he was certainly involved.
