Two volumes in one. x, 117, (2), ii, 114 pp. Modern full brown morocco. Raised bands to spine with gilt ruling & lettering. Marbled endpapers. Bound by Atkinsons. Armorial bookplate to front pastedown. Repair to verso of illustration at p. 37. With two hand-coloured aquatint frontispieces and four further etched plates. With original bookseller's receipt tipped-in to front pastedown with hand-written price of '1/2 Rupee.' ESTC T.125511 suggests [1795]. Boards fresh. Internally in remarkably clean condition. Scarce. 8vo.

We have been trading in Chiswick for 55 years - come and visit us in our bow-windowed c18th shop. All of our shipments are now tracked. Our Standard service is currently Royal Mail Tracked with FedEx, UPS and Parcelforce for larger parcels; local conditions vary so please be patient with us. Only 5 minutes walk from Turnham Green tube station on the District Line in West London. The Chiswick shop is open Monday to Saturday 10-30 to 17-30 GMT and most Sundays 11 to 5 and earlier at the beginning of the month when the Flower and Antiques Markets are on in front of the shop (by all means call in advance to be sure). items will be sent via registered airmail or one of the courier services. Large
orders can be sent via consolidation, which reduces the cost per book. In the
unlikely event of an incorrect description, a full refund will be provided, but
