21.5 x 14cm. Paperback, 36pp. Published in conjunction with exhibition at Wave Hill Glyndor Gallery, April 3rd to June 19th, 2011, in a an edition of 3000. Text by Peter Lamborn Wilson. Cover shows a detail of Terry Winters' painting 'Hexagram'. A showcase of hallucinatory, psychedelic and occult aspects in the works of the three artists. From the introduction: "the word 'alchemy' in the exhibition title alludes to transformation on many levels: chemical, magical, and spiritual. In his illuminating essay, Peter Lamborn Wilson examines the common root in Hermeticism (the ancient spiritual, philosophical, and magical tradition that takes its name from the Greek god Hermes and the Egyptian god Thoth) that unites the work of Winters, Tomaselli and Taaffe).
