Edited and with a Foreword by the author's son Felix S. Cohen, who also died before publication. From the wraps: "A great American thinker surveys ideas in history, science, religion, law, politics, philosophy, economics and aesthetics." Mass-market paperback, light wear with slightly more at bottom of front cover, water stain to top edge, binding tight and pages fairly bright. Name of former owner Prof. Warner Berthoff and a note by him written on ffep, a few small marks in front matter; underscoring and marginalia by Prof. Ann Berthoff on approximately 15 pages related to C.S. Peirce.
