Cloth. Condition: Good. 5th or later Edition. This is the 7th edition of this classic study "corrected and enriched by translations of the numerous classical extracts." [Publisher's catalogue] + Engraved facsimile of the Frontispiece to the Original Edition; and a Full Engraved Plate. Printed title with a very small hole. Previous owner's19th century signature on front paste down and front free end paper. Tips are bent; several places on the spine have a loss of cloth so that the spine looks speckled.
