This is a facsimile reproduction of the second edition of Cranbourn Chase privately printed by Lieut-General Pitt Rivers dated Rushmore 1886. The full Title is 'A Second Edition of The Anecdotes and History of Cranbourn Chase. By William Cafin, Clerk. With Additions, and a Continuation of the Said History to some extent. To which are added, some scenes in, and anecdotes of, Windsor Forest; by the same Author'. Octavo 103pp. Black and white pictorial frontis. Blue paper covered boards with cream cloth spine, Titles in paper label on front board. Spine and edges of boards darkening with wear to ends and corners, free endpapers browning, neat ink ownership insctiption on front pastedown, pages unevenly trimmed and foxing scattered throughout. A tight copy.
