Taschenbuch. Condition: Neu. Neuware - In this thoughtful and carefully researched work, William Chafin offers a critical evaluation of the claims made in W. Chafin's treatise 'Anecdotes Respecting Cranbourn Chase'. Drawing on his extensive knowledge of the region and its history, Chafin exposes a variety of errors and discrepancies in Chafin's work, and provides readers with a more accurate and nuanced understanding of the historical events in question. This is a must-read for anyone interested in the history of Southern England, or in the art of historical research more generally.
