5" x 7-1/2", (vi) + 161pp. Sewn binding in chartreuse cloth binding. Title block stamped in gilt foil on front cover and spine, and lost some of its brightness, especially on the spine where it has darkened. Moisture stains, soiling, shelf / reading wear. Minor wear to extremities. Binding is cocked but remains strong. Old moisture stain faintly visible in the margins at bottom fore corner to p. 44 as well as the last dozen or so pages in the book as well as the free end papers, but does not affect readability. Pages are gently age toned but remain clean and unmarked.

Canada's oldest independent bookstore, the People's Co-operative Bookstore Association was formed in 1945 by a broad coalition of Vancouver's progressive movements, from trade unionists and Marxists to social democrats and Christian social justice activists. Owned and operated by its member-shareholders, it is a registered co-op operating under the Co-operative Associations Act of British Columbia. Anyone can join. Since 1983, the People's Co-op Bookstore has been located at 1391 Commercial, in the heart of Commercial Drive.
