Single small closed tear to margin of both maps, only occ. light spotting, o/w. contents fine. In original blue cloth with a little bumping to extremities, o/w. nr. fine with gilt armorial to front cover with Latin text below. The author, a member of the British Ornithologist s Union, presents this book as his first attempt to describe in detail the bird life of his native isle.
