In good condition, lightly aged, on browning high-acidity paper. A meticulous production, fully indexed. On the title-page the firm is said to be 'Incorporating | S. W. Partridge & Co. Established 1850 and Gay & Hancock, Ltd. Established 1891 | The Sportsman's Library, etc. (Philip Allan & Co., Ltd.) | Various titles transferred from Alexander Maclehose & Co.' Scarce: no other copy traced, either on OCLC WorldCat or on COPAC.
