Welcome to Reiver Reads. We are Carlisle's only radical and socialist bookshop. Our stock includes radical history, LGBT, feminism and women's writing, politics, local history, poetry and much more. The shop is run by myself Rob in conjunction with my wife Kim We are based in Carlisle's historic market hall, 10 mins walk from the main railway station and five mins from Carlisle Castle.
