pp.xvi, 371 with 16 fine hand-coloured plates plus 16-page publisher’s catalogue. 8vo. Hardback. Early bookplate to front paste down and signature dated 1958 to ffep. Very minor spotting, a little pencil underlining internally and a few corners turned o/w. contents fine. Original cloth boards with gilt motif to front, spine gently sunned and in thor. vg. condition. Harding 309. As noted in the bibliography of British Bee Books, ‘In the earlier issues the plates are coloured by hand and are particularly fine’. (Harding 309).
