About the Author

Myron Cottrell pioneered the use of the LT1/LT4 engines in many forms of racing. His personal racing ventures in the SCCA Production classes were successful, as were his many customers' experiences with LT1/LT4-powered drag cars and street machines. There are few engine builders in the country with more LT1/LT4 experience than Cottrell, and the broad range of his talents and knowledge of these fine engines shines through on every page.

Eric McClellan, M.A., LMFT, is a freelance automotive journalist with an eclectic range of gearhead-based interests. He holds a masters degree and works as a psychotherapist. Originally from Kansas City, Missouri, Eric now lives in Hugo, Minnesota, with his wife and family. Eric enjoys everything automotive and tries to get as much seat time as possible. He's currently building a first-generation Camaro in the Pro-Touring style for both street and track use.
