Excellent near fine copies, the bindings square with a little bumping at the extremities, the contents toned otherwise clean throughout and without inscriptions or stamps. Complete with the near fine original dustwrappers, each a little faded at the spine. Not price-clipped. Scarce. Although unmarked as such these copies come from the personal library of the publisher Rayner Unwin [George Allen and Unwin]. Provenance: Rayner Unwin; thence by descent to Merlin Unwin.
