FIRST EDITION. 8vo. 5 x 7.5 inches. [x] + 246 pp. Bound in original green cloth, gilt, in dust wrapper, which is chipped with loss along top edge and browned at rear. Sunning of top edge of boards and tail of spine, fly leaves browned with foxing largely confined to edges; otherwise a very good clean copy. Founded by Patrick Marrin's father George in 1946, Marrin's Bookshop has been based in its current Folkestone location since 1963. Patrick has worked in bookselling since 1970. As well as rare antiquarian books, maps and prints, the stock includes a wide range of literature, library sets, travel, history and illustrated books in all fields. We also offer a bookbinding and restoration service. Visitors to the shop are welcome and we exhibit at UK book fairs.
