A manual of Anglican festivals and fasts, including saints days, arranged by the church year from Advent to All Saints with a separate part on fast days. Robert Nelson (1656-1715) was a lay religious writer and a nonjuror, who moved abroad for a period after the accession of William and Mary. He was elected a fellow of the Royal Society in 1695 and was a prominent early member of the SPCK. A best selling title published from 1704 well into the nineteenth century.
