17 volumes. 1893-1903: Red cloth with gilt and black illustrations to boards and gilt lettering to spines; after 1904: red cloth with gilt lettering to boards and spine. Minor fading to the spines, a few marks to some of the volumes' boards, a little rubbing and wear to spine ends, but generally all in very good condition; very occassional spots internally, a few ink owner's names, otherwise clean. The first part of each volume is the monthly parish notices and newletters, with interesting information for various churches around Chiswick at the turn of the last century - great for the local historian. The latter part, which each parish section would have been bound with, is 'The Church Monthly', a more widely published, very wholesome magazine with lots and lots of illustrations, short stories, poetry, articles, songs, puzzles, etc. Although missing a few years, this is a very nicely bound, intriguing set of great local interest.
