Dr. Mercugliano received her medical degree from the University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine. Her postgraduate training included a residency in pediatrics at The Children's Hospital of Philadelphia, a postdoctoral fellowship in developmental disabilities at the Kennedy Institute of The Johns Hopkins University, and a postdoctoral research fellowship in neuropsychopharmacology in the Departments of Pharmacology and Psychiatry at the University of Pennsylvania.
