Limited edition, no. 698 of 1,050 sets. Twenty four volumes. 8vo. Publisher's linen backed drab boards, printed spine labels with spares tipped in at the inner covers. 23 frontispieces, 20 full page plates (one in colour), a double page plate, 2 full page maps, 2 folding maps, 3 pages of type samples, one full page illustration and numerous facsimile illustrations throughout. Spine label of volume I partially browned, slight cockling and light wear to some of the others, generally very good. Seller Inventory # 42548
