Lynnette Leeseberg Stamler, RN, PhD, is Professor and Assistant Dean at the College of Nursing, University of Saskatchewan. She completed her BSN at St. Olaf College, Minnesota; her MEd at the University of Manitoba; and her PhD at the University of Cincinnati. Her research interests include patient/health education, diabetes education, nursing education, and quality care. She was a VON nurse for four years prior to her teaching career. She is active in national and international nursing organizations, including Sigma Theta Tau International, the Nursing Honor Society, and was President of the Canadian Association of Schools of Nursing from 2008–2010.
Lucia Yiu, BScN, BA (University of Windsor), BSc (University of Toronto), MScN (University of Western Ontario), is an Associate Professor in the Faculty of Nursing, University of Windsor, and an Educational and Training Consultant in community nursing. Her practice and research include multicultural health, international health, experiential learning, community development, breast health, and program planning and evaluation.
