With 29 plates, numbered 1-28 & also plate 32, (which is correct for this volume with the exception of bis plate 19* which is not present) from the full complement of 61 botanical plates in the 2 volume set, plus 7 plates labelled A-H of garden buildings without colouring at the end. The first plate with some slight (unobtrusive) damp-staining to the upper margin, as the first few leaves of the work, otherwise the plates clean with only the very occasional light mark to a margin. Contemporary calf, leading joint cracked, a little worn. A good copy. [Ceveland 718].
