Valery Mamonov, Ph.D., was born and educated in Russia, and studied holistic methods and experimented with fasting, various diets, and alternative therapies for more than 20 years. He left his seccessful career as a consulting engineer in 1996 to concentrate full time on creating a program that would offer a new approach to longevity.
His self-supported research project in longevity included interviews with centenarians and long-living people in the United States, Japan, Iceland, Singapore, China, and Russia.
He is a publisher, author and speaker and lives in Rome, Maine.
