An original Quad poster measuring 68.5cm x 100cm. Folded. In very good condition 'The Conversation' (1974), directed by Francis Ford Coppola, follows Harry Caul, a paranoid surveillance expert played by Gene Hackman. Hired to record a seemingly ordinary couple, Caul becomes convinced his tapes reveal a looming murder. The film explores guilt, privacy, and the ethical limits of technology, emphasising Caul's growing psychological disintegration. With its minimalist sound design and ambiguous ending, 'The Conversation' remains a landmark of 1970s cinema and a prescient critique of surveillance culture.
