Same date at title and copyright pages with no reference to a later printing, good + dark green cloth hardcover (5 by 7 approx.)(no dust jacket if issued) with decoration and letter at cover and spine shows shelf wear with rubbing at egdes that includes some rub through to boards at corners, touch of rubbing and soil to covers, couple of previous owner bookplates and name at front pastedown, name stamp at title page, wear along hinge with bit of tearing at first couple of pages, name and scribble at rear pastedown, closed tear to rear blank, some interior soil, bit of age toning to pages and some other light trace wear. 342 pages with black & whites and followed by a number of other title adverts at rear. Still a solid copy of this insructional aimed at the young hunter in the 19th century. Seller Inventory # 27647
