Patrick, originally from Michigan, graduated from the University of Montana in 1991 with a degree in political science and a minor in Asian studies. At U of M, he also studied Japanese and business management. Upon graduation, he moved to Seattle, and has held various sales-management positions at Fortune 500 companies, including Airborne Express and Avis Rent A Car. Patrick has built a rewarding career in high-tech sales (selling printed circuit boards) and has also interviewed thousands of unsatisfied employees throughout North America. As a result, he has become an expert on what it is that people really want in life!
Patrick and his wife Cheryl, a criminal deputy prosecuting attorney for King County, have lived in the greater Seattle area since 1991. They moved to Bainbridge Island, in September 1997 upon the completion of their home. They are blessed with two young boys. In addition to his busy career, Patrick volunteers his time in his community by coaching youth basketball and baseball. He also sits on the board of directors for the Bainbridge Island High School Business Education Advisory Committee.
