Contemporary half red leather binding, red cloth covers, treble gilt separators between leather & cloth, raised bands on spine with extensive gilt decoration + gilt lettering. Original marble eps. Covers : 2cm scuff top edge of spine, very slight rubs to corners & top bottom of spine else very bright attractive binding. Contents : foxing to prelims, heavy foxing/browning to last few pages, slight occasional fox marks throughout but plates generally clean, one gathering misbound as issued but all pages present.
