8vo. 8.75 x 5.5 inches. [viii] + 437 pp. Bound in pictorial; cloth boards, with titles in gilt red and cream, in red slipcase, gilt. Spine sunned, but otherwise a fine copy. Decorated by publisher's device on title page. Patterned endpapers. The book opens with a couple coming together on 15 July 1988 and then separating for twenty years; the story then follows their two separate lives on the same day each year until they encounter each other again. The novel, the third of screenwriter and novelist, David Nicholls (b. 1966) was first published in 2009, here presented as limited edition in a slipcase. FICTION NOVELS LIT. Founded by Patrick Marrin's father George in 1946, Marrin's Bookshop has been based in its current Folkestone location since 1963. Patrick has worked in bookselling since 1970. As well as rare antiquarian books, maps and prints, the stock includes a wide range of literature, library sets, travel, history and illustrated books in all fields. We also offer a bookbinding and restoration service. Visitors to the shop are welcome and we exhibit at UK book fairs.
