Inscribed ‘C.W. Moule from his affectionate brother H.C.G.M.’ Charles Walter Moule (1834–1921) was a prominent Fellow, librarian, and historian at Corpus Christi College, Cambridge. He was an academic figure who contributed to historical records and published Musa Domestica, a collection of private verses. He is also noted in biographies of the era, such as that of Bishop Handley Moule.
